Last week, I appeared in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia in a busy duty list. The Judge on that occasion indicated that they were providing final hearing dates in 2020.

The time for which it takes to resolve a family law dispute with the assistance of the court is becoming longer, and the costs involved are escalating as a direct result.
