Mediation – The Expert Choice

Mediation vs litigation

Litigation should be viewed as a ‘last choice’ in family law matters.

Last week, I appeared in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia in a busy duty list. The Judge on that occasion indicated that they were providing final hearing dates in 2020.

The time for which it takes to resolve a family law dispute with the assistance of the court is becoming longer, and the costs involved are escalating as a direct result.

Earlier, Zachary Wilson of our office wrote a blog article on the benefits of mediation. You can read it here: tiyce.com/blog/mediate-dont-detonate

All of our solicitors at Tiyce & Lawyers have significant experience in mediation and in litigation. Our preference would be the former, to save you time and money, and give you the freedom to move on with your life.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
