Ruth is a Solicitor at Tiyce & Lawyers. Ruth has been with the firm since April of 2015. Prior to joining Tiyce & Lawyers, Ruth was a Barrister-at-Law in Ireland practising in Criminal Law.
Ruth’s experience in criminal law has developed her robust reputation in parenting and property matters with issues relating to family violence and domestic violence. As a trained advocate, she is exceptional on her feet in Court and is known by her peers as a capable and efficient legal practitioner.
Ruth studied a Bachelor of Civil Law at the University College of Dublin. Following this she studied her Barrister-at-Law degree at the Honorable Society of King’s Inns in Ireland. In Australia, she completed the Legal Practitioners Admission Board Bridging Course through the University of Sydney and was admitted as a solicitor in October 2016.
Ruth regularly appears in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and the Family Court of Australia.
At home Ruth enjoys everything that Ireland didn’t have to offer: the sun. Her weekends are spent boating and riding her motorcycle.
Ruth is currently a member of the NSW Law Society, Eastern Suburbs Law Society, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and the Eastern Suburbs Family Law Group.
