Since joining the firm in 2017 Emily has solely worked in Family Law and Wills & Estates.

Emily completed a Bachelor of Political, Economic and Social Sciences, majoring in History and Anthropology at Sydney University in 2016. She then went on to complete a Juris Doctor at Macquarie University in 2021. Emily was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia in August 2022.

Having specialised in the social sciences in her undergraduate degree, Emily is passionate about the human connection between people and the law. She aspires to create a calm and supportive environment for clients in what is a typically a very challenging time of their lives. Although Emily is only newly admitted as a solicitor, she has been an integral part of the team at Tiyce for many years and has significant experience in all areas of Family Law and Wills & Estates.

Emily is confident to deliver pragmatic advice about both property and parenting matters, and has been involved in numerous alternative dispute resolution processes in efforts to settle these matters prior to litigation in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. Emily also has experience in drafting divorce applications, binding financial agreements and estate planning documents including Wills, Power of Attorneys and Enduring Guardians.
