The Attorney General of NSW has made a move to streamline the way in which Domestic Violence Orders are made in New South Wales.

On 3 December 2016, new Plain English Orders will roll out state wide so as to ensure that any perpetrator of domestic violence can unequivocally understand the Orders made by the Court so as to reduce any recidivism or breach of the Orders at the hand of complicated drafting.

Tiyce & Lawyers welcomes this change and we believe that this is another positive step toward in dealing with domestic violence issues in NSW.
